TWG: Castle Crisis {Original Version}
Objective:
Players are secretly assigned roles: either "mafia", who know each other; or "townspeople", who know only the number of mafia amongst them. In the game's "night" phase the mafia covertly 'murder' a townsperson. During the day phase, all of the surviving players debate the identities of the mafia and vote to eliminate a suspect. Play continues until all of the mafia have been eliminated, or until the mafia outnumber the townspeople
Roles:
Assassin Leader - can block a player form using their roles. (PM Granted Among Assassin when Identified)
Assassin - Knows other assassin (not the leader) and able to kill at night. (PM Granted Among Assassin)
Merchants Guild - Knows the others Merchants (PM Granted Among Merchants)
Royal Knight - Able to kill a player at night (1 Use Only)
Clergy - Can protect a player at Night
Villager - A common player that only can vote during the day
Stalker - A person that can scout a player to know their roles.
Vampire - A neutral role, He kills at night for his/her own reasons. (Only when 13+ players)
Rules:
1. NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, ARE YOU ALLOWED TO REVEAL YOUR ROLE TO THOSE IGNORANT OF IT!
This cannot be emphasized enough, I've seen countless games ruined by newbie players who either broke or ignored this rule. Your role is revealed to those appropriate of knowing it (Masons knowing each other, Werewolves knowing each other, the Seer knowing those he or she checks) when you are alive. You role will be revealed to all the players by the Game Master if/when you die. In addition, revealing your role to those who don't play the game is also prohibited, since they may leak it. Guessing and making assumptions is allowed, but information you are certain about cannot be revealed.
2. EVERYONE votes during the day. Being absent once leads to a warning. Being absent twice leads to death, so be active! (This cannot be emphasized enough either)
3. Dead players are not allowed to reveal roles, assuming they know any.
4. If the daily vote is a tie, the Game Master decides the one to be killed by flipping a coin, for the sake of being fair.
5. If the Clergy is killed during the night while protecting another player, that player is still protected during that night.
6. If the Royal Knight uses his or her only bullet on someone protected by the Clergy, the target player survives but the bullet is still consumed.
7. The Game Master (me) is, game mechanically speaking, outside of the game and hence cannot be voted or killed by any means. Voting for the Game Master counts as not voting (absence)
8. The assassin leader lives if he attacked by his own people. they just lose a night to kill someone in order to to gain the access to know their leader is.

Let me get this straight: if assassins target the assassin leader at night, the leader doesnt die and gets pm among assassins. The same goes if assassin leader targets an assassin. Is that correct?

I'd also like more details on assassin leader and PM's. You can't be 100% sure someone is an assassin without stalker's ability.

The leader doesn't know anyone, while the regular assassin(s) know the other common assassin types. Only way the leader can know the other assassin(s) if he gets targeted by them for the reveal. which grants him the names of the assassin(s) and the use of PM with them.Sash wrote:I'm coming home tomorrow evening, so you can count me in.
