RTD: The wrath of RNG-sus
That's right, I'm gonna start hosting this game again.
RTD is a game in which your very existence is subject to the whims of chance. That's not very clear, but then again, neither is the game.
The Rules
They are very simple.
1) You do stuff.
2) I roll a die and tell you what actually happened.
If something is coming to hit you, even if it's not your turn, you'll get a roll to dodge it. You lose if you die. You win if all the other players have lost (though feel free to cooperate anyway). All you need to do in this bizarre game is to survive, so feel free to use all dirty tricks in the book to achieve that.
Joining procedure might be different for other people, but for me you simply post in the thread. When enough people post, I will drop the initial setup and we proceed from there.
Rolling
I will roll the dice. I will also decide what actually happens.
Rolls are on a normal die with six sides. The higher the roll, the more successful the action was. The more ambitious the activity is, the harder it is to succeed and the more dire the consequences of failure.
1 - Epic Failure
2 - Failure
3 - Kinda Success
4 - Success
5 - Perfect Success
6 - Overkill
Notes/Restrictions
- NO PIG LATIN IN MY RTD! Posting in any language that isn't English will result in punishment.
- Taking note of your surroundings does not require a roll.
- Moving does not require a roll, unless the circumstances state that doing so will be a challenge.
- Any action impossible without an intermediate action will automatically fail, regardless of the roll. (Example: Trying to fire lasers from your eyes without somehow learning the ability first.)
- You cannot take the same action twice in a row.
- You can only take one action each turn. If you post several actions, only the first one will be taken into consideration. The rest will automatically fail.
- The Game Master's word is absolute. You will not question it.
- Activity is required. If you don't post an action for two rounds you will die horribly.

Re: RTD: The wrath of RNG-sus
Let's get rollin'!
You wake up in a room. It's a rather peculiar one, with transparent walls. You appear to be in some manner of confinement building with transparent walls. You see fellow individuals in adjacent rooms, each looking just as confused as you are.
You have absolutely no idea how you got here. There's a letter on the floor, and besides the bed you woke up in there is only a drawer which, by the looks of it, is locked. The door, once you can figure out where it is by locating the hinges, is probably also locked. Beyond all the rooms, there is a single corridor with stairs up at the end.
You pick up the letter and read it. It's a very simple one.
"Try not to die on your way out.
- Sassy Gnome"
Well, shit. This should be interesting.

Re: RTD: The wrath of RNG-sus
Take a part of the bed's thin, metal frame piece, putting it in the handle of the drawer, taking the drawer out of it's place with much more force available with physics.

Disassembling the bed to make something usefull with the parts, or at least find a key inside the paillasse or the pillow.

Re: RTD: The wrath of RNG-sus
ROUND ONE
You make a little twirl for momentum and give the drawer a good and proper roundhouse kick. It shatters completely as result and your foot hurts. Was that really necessary?
Whatever was inside the drawer is very likely destroyed, too.
The sheet is too heavy to lift. What the hell, man?
You try once, nothing happens. You then give it a firm pull and hear a little "Snap!" from inside. After that the drawer opens normally. You see three objects inside: A knife, a key and a small pile of coins.
(6)
You yank the metallic support beam with such force that the rest of the bed makes a few sinister snaps before the structure fails entirely and... explodes! Splinters and metallic support beams fly everywhere at great velocity!
Roll to Dodge! (2)
You manage to avoid most, but another metallic beam clonks you over the head. Hard.
Destroya1103 is Dazed! (-1 to all rolls, lasts one round)
You somehow manage to bang your knee on the bed corner, and that's about it really. It doesn't inconvenience you, but hurts like bloody hell.
You quickly browse through your pockets. Within it you find a key and a little cube with a button on it.

Only this part of the post will be taken into account. Reread the rules, please.Destroya1103 wrote:Take a part of the bed's thin, metal frame piece

Re: RTD: The wrath of RNG-sus
I try to open the drawer by pulling it (at least if I use too much force the ite will fall on the floor, and won't get auto-destroyed, maybe)
Re: RTD: The wrath of RNG-sus
As described in the initial setup, your room contains a bed, a drawer, and a door. The two latter are seemingly locked.ColmilloNegro wrote:Can I ask what's left in my room? xD

Get a sizable piece of the frame that flew out(One that can be a weapon), preparing it's use.
