Remove Edit Button On Werewolf Thread
I know this sounds ridiculous and impossible
Is there a function/feature on this feature that the admin can disable?
or maybe that when someone tries to edit his/her post, It needs Moderator/s confirmation/checking before it can be edited
Editing a post in WW is somewhat unfair to me.
Imagine playing WW in real-life, all players seated next to each other, talking, but then you said something that just slipped up. Its your fault, and you can't take back what have you said..
That's why editing your post in WW/Mafia games is unfair for those people who are in different timezones that doesn't have a glimpse on what is that slip up..
WW/Mafia again has advantageous than real-life since you can edit/preview your post before submitting

Re: Remove Edit Button On Werewolf Thread
Yeah... Editing is kinda making me whack... Someone edits a question and I reply and few minutes later the question becomes 2.... So I'm kinda all over the place when someone asks me a question.. :s It makes it easier if you can't edit posts.... At least I can stand a chance against editing questions.
Re: Remove Edit Button On Werewolf Thread
I laugh.
But to answer the question, yes, we can set posts so it can't be edited. But I am not sure if it limits only to particular forum (sub-forum) or group member. That being said, still.. it is similar to clearing evidence. You talked, someone taped you, then you stole and broke his recorder. If it's possible to clear evidence, then just prepare another evidence; in this case, taking a screenshot, probably (although it also can be forged lol). I am a fan of editing post (you can see it clearly), but I am fine with other option.

Very good idea. I can't set it for only one topic, but I can set it for forum where game is located, where all will be. So, you can edit here in off-topic and suggest new games, but can't in there.
BF and me are admins so we can edit, but we'll behave and not abuse.

And that means TS can't edit his first post. Love the idea. He can't edit the votes-count too! And the update too! Wow..

No idea what are you talking about. O:)
Coby, your own fault, if you didn't point that out I wouldn't realize it and thus wouldn't do it.

Re: Remove Edit Button On Werewolf Thread
Heh, figures
Actually I was thinking to suggest about making particular group for those who are currently hosting a game. This group will be given similar power to moderator (or just anything - admins can modify custom setting). Once the game done, he will get removed from the group.

Re: Remove Edit Button On Werewolf Thread
Can do same by giving admin status, much simpler.

How bad could your spelling errors be? ._.

Unless your next host is not a person you can't share admin status with. But by meantime, admin status is simpler.Sash Kojax wrote:Can do same by giving admin status, much simpler.
