Got 2 of my friends who were soooo easy to scare to read them that they literaly shit their pants on the first part so think what happened when they found the second one =D

And as a matter of fact, I never really read it. I was opening YM and chatting with a friend (it's Valkh) and I asked her to read it together. By chance, my laptop was muted because I always bring laptop to the class (it needs to be muted, of course). I faked a screaming and swearing so Valkh would continue scrolling down the comic. She did - and got surprised. So I knew there are gifs of ghosts crawling and sound of breaking bones without really experiencing it.
Yeah, I am a coward. It's just that I think getting scared and surprised are two different things. I don't like the latter. I will avoid it if I can. I have enough playing games where an odd creature will suddenly appear from screen. Or watching prank videos. I know I don't get jumpy, startled, punching the screen, or scream - but I just hate it -.-

Not scared, I just don't like it. And it's different with riding roller-coaster. Getting surprised is unavoidable - it's natural response. Our bodies do that without the mind being conscious. Maybe it's irritation at the pranks; someone is happy seeing someone surprised and later saying that that guy is scared. What just triggered is physical reaction, not cognitive.
So in my thoughts, avoid being surprised means one less mistake for other people and one less irritation for me.

Well if you wnat teh visual novel on mac i think it should work not 100% sure but if you don't want to spend that 40h+ for it then i recommend watching the anime =D
